TGIF is finally in Tainan. Opened in February of 2008, this is a place that you need to go if you have been dying to get some decent buffalo wings, mozzarella sticks, potato skins, burgers, steaks, or whatever else you have been pining for that has that proper western flavor.

Prices are similar to Western prices, and there is a 10% service charge to all purchases.

Address:

It is located in the same building as the Carrefour in An Ping.

The best thing that I can

Submitted by robert on Fri, 06/06/2008 - 12:55.

The best thing that I can say about this restaurant is that I left very full. There's a lot of flavor in there but it left me vaguely unsatisfied. Yes, I do have fond memories of it back in the old country but it didn't live up to my expectations or those of my 2 other American companions.

Sure it fills a niche here in Tainan for those sick of pork chop lunch boxes or dumplings but compared to the fresh, high quality ingredients used in most eateries here, the American big business concept of what food is was glaringly obvious.

And I agree with Robert.

And I agree with Robert. Beggars can't be chosers. hehehehe Try their platter for three - $470. What you can get for U.S. $9.99 back home, will cost you $25 here at TGIF.
