May Thai Restaurant
Tainan Restaurants
May Thai restaurant just recently opened up on the corner of Jinhua Rd. and Bao-an Rd., a few doors down from the goose restaurant (臺中鵝肉). This is my favorite restaurant and I am a frequent customer because the food is authentic and it’s reasonably priced. It’s run by a very nice couple, and the husband is Thai. Some of the menu items you can get for $60 include, pad thai, Thai fried rice, and 打拋蓋飯. Their green curry is $90 and it’s also really good. What’s also great about this restaurant is that they’re open late, so if you get off work at 9, they’re still open for you.

Sounds awesome. For any
Sounds awesome. For any newcomers to Thai food, two Thai dishes that are awesome and spicy are Panang Chicken (red coconut curry) and Ge Pao Chicken (basil spicy chicken). I'm in New York right now and it costs US $12 for the panang curry. I'll bet it is half that or less in Tainan right now.
Hope they have good Pad
Hope they have good Pad Thai. The last 2 supposedly Thai restaurants I went to didn't even serve it. How can they call themselves Thai restaurants with out it. I'll be trying this one very soon.
