Hi,
It is me Jennifer - the owner of the Jennifer Salsa Bar. I started my bar in Tainan to introduce salsa to the local people so that they can enjoy this passionate dance. You are welcome to my bar any day to have a drink and share our passion for salsa dancing.

I organise great salsa events and love to see you in my bar dancing and having fun. You can check out the past evetns at :

The address of my place is :
Jennifar Salsa Bar
127 Fujhong Street,
[Lane opposite to the famous Conficious Temple]

I look forward to seeing you soon in my bar
[By the way, the drinks in my bar is reasonable !]

If you can not confirm it,

If you can not confirm it, why would you specify that there was an issue between locals and foreigners?

Your negativity reminds me of my Ex-wife. Just something I don't even care to hear. I had a great time there. Please support this establishment as it is top quality.

OOOH! What could the

OOOH! What could the problem there have been, someone put a left foot forward with a funky twist that wasn't recognized by Salsa standards. Come on... this place is put together with such thought and passion and subtlety, it's pure gold. They have a huge TV for sports and such, and Jennifer is as nice as they come and is a very lovely person and a Salsa instructor. Here is the kind of place put together by a person who loves what they do!!! Nuff said. The beer is cold and the food is good. If you want a chill clean pretty environment, this is definitely one. Cool bar, cool personnel, cool street and area. Check it out!

don't worry, every society

don't worry, every society needs it's outlier and Bugsy is definitely that of Tainan Bulletin. Nobody (hopefully) takes what he says to heart and I still can't wait to check this place out. As far as I know only good things are said of this establishment. What are you really accomplishing anyway....?

RockStarkey, It actually

RockStarkey,

It actually happened to a very very close friend of mine. The problem eventually got resolved. It had to do with a local and a foreign patron. But, those are rare situations. I haven't been there, so I am not sure what it's like.

To sblackblu: Close your eyes and don't read my comments. Nobody's holding a gun to your head. :)

Baseball,

With all due respect, maybe it's something that the person involved does not wish to be made public? How about that for a reason? Glad you had a great time. :) Your mode of confirmation means what?

Bugsy...My mode of confirmation? You were the one who stated that there was indeed an incident however you were not sure as the story was not confirmed.

I completely agree with what sblackblu when they stated.

What are you trying to accomplish?

My apologies. The parties in question did not wish it to be known as a major event, although it was, hence I refrained. :)

Accomplish? Just be careful as to how to interact with the locals in these fine establishments, here, or in any country for that matter. We are the guests here, not the hosts, hence they have a home team advantage. And, I would love to check the above place out. Sounds like fun!!! :)

are you re-opening the bar?

are you re-opening the bar?

The bar is now called "Bogie

The bar is now called "Bogie Burger". I told the man that a bogie was British for booger, or snot etc.

He laughed and said no its not. and danced...I think he meant bogey.

I actually laughed, when he said "no its not". and said yes its snot!

I think it went right over his head.

might be a good place tho...enjoy.
