Been there a few times. Excellent joint!! A regular hang out for foreign teachers. Prices are reasonable, the owner is friendly and speaks Chinese.
The restaurant will be
The restaurant will be moving to a new location, not far from the old location, within the next 3 to 4 weeks. The place is bigger, but the boss told me that he will be changing the menu a bit, and reducing the prices, because the new area, supports food, less expensive than the current menu prices. Will post new location address, as soon as I have the moving date.
Last time I went there,
Last time I went there, everything they recommended was awesome. The stuff that I picked off the menu just okay.
Talked to the boss there
Talked to the boss there today. He has signed a lease on a new location. It's not far from the old location. He has already started moving his stuff to the new location. The old location, will be open, at least for the next 2 or 4 days or so. The new location concept - same menu, but prices to be reduced. Plus a huge buffet table will be added in the middle of the new restaurant. But, all that are initial plans. New location address will be posted soon.

The restaurant is now open, BIGGER AND BETTER! The boss slashed the prices a lot!! Grand Opening was yesterday (6th, his twins birthdays). The area dictates that he keeps it open for much longer hours. For all the teachers out there, he is now open until midnight at least, and over time, is thinking to open it until 2 or 3 AM. Same menu, but with much reduced prices. NEW ADDRESS: 1ST FLOOR, NO. 1-32 SHIA LIN ROAD, TAINAN CITY. No phone installed yet, but has applied for a phone. You can buy the beer right next door from the vendor on the street. Yesterday was the first day of operations. The buffet is now neatly laid out, in the middle of the huge restaurant, bang smack, right in the middle! Enjoy!
