Go Dutch Cafe
Tainan Restaurants
Go Dutch is a littel restaurant with some books to lend, Internet, video library and sports on TV. Quite an extensive collection of books there as well. Best to call ahead to make sure they are open on any given day.
Go Dutch is next to Malibu and Jerry's.

I love the pesto. There must be other good things on the menu but I haven't gotten around to them yet.

Honestly? All I know if
Honestly? All I know if this is for real, this dudes food is great! Its a touch pricey, but well worth it as it is the closest thing you will get to home cooked meals anywhere in Taiwan.
Nice! This place used to
Nice! This place used to be legendary in Tainan. Glad to hear it is open again. Check it out if you haven't.
I had tortillas made for me
I had tortillas made for me on the spot for breakfast. I'm not even so picky but on the spot makes me feel kinda special. It was awesome and the books and conversation couldn't be topped.
@ Adamusiak, a touch pricey
@ Adamusiak, a touch pricey if you compare it to Taiwan breakfast. I can't get over the food price ratio in Tainan.... my wife and I wind up spending alot more here than we did or would in any other city, but the foreign crowd all think food should be cheaper than it is back home even though the cost for the restaurant is higher than it is back home. Okay, I accept, so be it, check out our new prices. *Sigh* More to the point, check out Go Dutch prices, they are CHEAP, not pricey at all!! 3 dollars American isn't an expensive breakfast for hand made everything. It's just not!
Great great food! Spend that
Great great food! Spend that extra 50NT of some banana bread or a second cup of coffee.
I highly recommend the pesto veggie omelet, huevos rancheros, Spaghetti and homemade meatballs, meatball sandwich, eggplant parm pasta, well....anything you get off the menu is wicked!
Just be warned, this is not a fast food breakfast place. Good food takes time. Order a latte and chill with a newspaper on the sofa and wait for the goodness to arrive.
