I already left Tainan, so I dont know what is going on there now. The classes are run by Azhua who is mostly into TCMA but got into BJJ a couple years ago. He is a white belt, has done some camps in US and Guam and travels around Taiwan to train with other clubs. He runs the class with warmups, stretching, basic instruction in technique and sparring. All levels welcome, teach what you know learn what you dont. If you dont have a uniform there are some gi tops at the dojo, or you can just roll no-gi. Sorry for being repetitive, but it doesn't seem that this listing has been updated in some time. That said, does anybody know how to contact this instructor if he is still around or know where one might go to find practices like this? I did try the email address given and my message bounced back. Any help welcome and appreciated. Thanks!

There is a club that meets every Tuesday and Thursday night. It is a foreigner club that has a few very experienced members that instruct, and they bring in hired help at times as well.

I don't have their numbers off hand, but I'm sure someone will post a "call me" soon.

Hi there. I am a member of the Tainan Brazilian Jiu Jitsu club. We do meet on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 10pm. It is "no gi" jiu jitsu so just wear anything comfortable to be active in.
