Meal Chain
Tainan Markets
Meal Chain is a small store that specializes in some harder to find ingredients for cooking. You can buy tortillas (for Mexican food) here, as well as sour cream, huge bars of chocolate and peanut butter (probably for industrial cooking), herbs, cheeses, cream cheese, and a variety of other foods.
One thing that struck me is how clean the place is. Well done on their part.

It is on He Wei Road, going east from Gong Yuan Road. There is a salon called Me Too and the sign for it is right in front of Meal Chain and is hard to miss.

This store has less products than the Wang Lai supermarket but overall the prices seem cheaper.
For those who love peanut butter, there is a discount this week:
65 $ NTD for 400 grams of peanut butter.
That is the cheapest peanut butter that I have found in Tainan until now.
