A) Indian Restaurant - Tainan (now closed). They used to carry many Indian spices. But that restaurant is now closed. However, the GREEK RESTAURANT in the same block, whose owner's name is Dennis, also used to own the Indian restaurant. He may still have those spices left over from the other restaurant. He is Taiwanese.
B) Kohinoor Restaurant - Taichung. 50 Bu Guan Street. He sells tonnes of Indian spices. Owners name is Ali. Speaks english. Its a no frills restaurant. Excellent curries.
C) The best place to get them cheap - TRINITY SUPER STORES, 2/F, NO. 137 CHUNG SHIAO EAST ROAD, SEC 5, TAIPEI, TAIWAN. PHONE: 886-2-2756 7992. Website: www.trinityworldwide.com/tss. Email: jobi@trinityworldwide.com. Request them to send you a price list by email. The contact there is Praveen. Speaks english. Store Hours: 2 PM to 10 PM. They offer cheap shipping.
D) Ali Baba Restaurant - Tainan. He gets all his stuff from Trinity, as they are whole salers. Resells it in Tainan, with a 200% mark up. (See Directory Listing).
