Anyone been here yet? Care to share experiences? Foreigner friendly or not please?

I used to go a lot and never had any problems. I know of some guys who were followed home and beaten with bamboo late at night. I think the most important thing is how you hold yourself. If you go in and try to pick up every girl and pay no regard for the guys they are hanging out with, you might find yourself on the short end.

Jazz, understand. I wasn't implying on hitting on every gal in the joint. I simply wanted to know if its an all locals place, or do you get to see the odd foreigner in there? Its the same all over Asia - bamboo sticks was a simple punishment, I saw some wild stuff during my hey days.

Anyone happen to know what days ladies night and foreigner's night is?

Sorry, I haven't been there in ages. Friday night was foreigner night, and Thursday was Ladies night. Things have been changing though I heard, and there are more and more pay 1 price all you can drink nights.

Very bad location!
I was stay there last Saturday and I am a foreigner (european). I have not "try to pick up every girl" the problem was that many Girl come to me and want to talk with me! But I hava only talk with some girls, not more! At the end of the Party there were 5 Guys who pull me out of the club and kick and beat me! I was lucky that I can escape to a Taxi! Unbelievable.
This is really a racist Club and it give a worst impression over complete Taiwan!

I guess you haven't learned that talking to the wrong girl can get you beat up. Was she wearing all black? did she have tattoo's? was she sitting with a table of gangsters before you talked to her?

This can happen at many places and isn't a La Sight specific thing, but I will add, and you may be the exception, that every person I know that had the snot beat out of them in Taiwan were definitely on a mission for chicks and will never admit to pursuing girls in a manner that would piss off the local guys. It isn't Europe or North America. There are different rules of engagement, even down to the fighting at the end where they team up and beat you.

Lucky you found the taxi,and I do feel sorry for you. Perhaps you really were in the right. I dunno. I'm just throwing up my two cents.
