decent place. second floor is a nice open area with a good pool table, music isnt half bad either. they close at 2am on the weekend, but the cool thing is that there r a number of bars right next to it that stay open later

Why did they get rid of Wi Fi? Portions have decreased by half and the music......? Seems as though they have degraded in the last year. Hmm.

Excellent pub!

This place is newly taken over and it is fantastic. Friendly staff, comfortable set up, very clean....feels like a proper pub.

The food is delicious, great portions, really tasty!! The western food is everything you could want.

They also have a proper pizza oven so the pizzas are highly recommended, very, very tasty!

I hear rumours of a pub quiz starting too.

Andy and myself, Alun, have recently taken over Willy's. To answer the posts from before. We have wi fi, the portions are bigger and taste better. We now have a great stone based pizza oven, which, with Andy's skill and secret sauce recipe is producing fantastic pizza. We make our own 7oz beefburgers, and have a great tex mex menu.

We have a huge movie screen where you can watch satellite TV, watch any sport of your choice, play PS 3 or watch a classic movie. We also have, a full size pool table and fooz ball
Our dartboard will be up next week and if you miss those old games from your youth like, space invaders, donkey kong, pacman and many more come and try our table top video game,a definite blast from the past.

And don't forget our great pub quiz every Thursday night.

If you are fed up with loud music and the prices of TGIF's western food, then get your arse to Willy's.

I've been there several times already. Great atmosphere, excellent food and great selection. Alun's a freaking awesome cook. Comes from a restaurant background and loves to cook and it shows. Anything this guy does, either it works well or he doesn't do it.

I know Andy's been planning those recipes and even the oven for quite a while. Andy, your secret sauce, whatever was in it, did the trick. ;-) Sure don't skimp on the toppings either.

Good luck with the place guys.  Sounds like you have turned the place around.

In my humble opinion, this is the only place to watch the World Cup. Alun and Andy are great and their drinks and food are super. In my humble opinion...Willy's is what a sports bar should be. Other are just pretenders.
