Here is very small and not beautiful but I believe TCRC have different soul in Tainan

 I am so stupid in business but I will hardwork in this job and do some thing for independent music

Jay, this Rockabilly Theme...what are we talking about here? Classic Rock? Rock 'n' Roll? Which era of music please?

130 Dollars and Full House most closely match the "Rockabilly" label - they're a bit of good-time, guitar-driven throwback rockabilly, with a Japanese tinge. The Birds and the Bees play older (mainly 60s-era, I think)upbeat covers, and the Deadly Vibes are more straightforward, energetic modern Rock n Roll.

They're all really good, fun bands to watch.

Hope that helps. Overall, I think the sound will generally fit the umbrella description of "rockabilly."

It might be hard to find, but if you are going around the circle, it is just past the quarter that usually has the working girls on it. When you are in the right quarter, look for a glass door set back from the main door opening and go downstairs.

I am sick and tired of listening to the house band at Pioneer. It got old, after a while. Besides, the only person the singer seems to be entertaining is - himself. Every time my date recommended a tune, the guy had countless excuses why it cannot be played. One time, the guy goes - oh this is not the right time to play the song (a Chinese song), can someone tell this guy, the customers are the ones paying his salary?

A truely awesome place to hang out. Reminds me of the underground music scene in New York and Tokyo. Dead smack, in the basement of a house, music? They got music all right - and simply fantastic stuff! Guys, don't worry about expat bars and suds at $200 a hit, this place takes the cake. Laid back, friendly and it simply rocks! Truely represents what music is all about. It takes a while to find it, BUT ITS WELL WORTH THE EFFORT. I raise my hat to you Jay, for putting on a fab show.

Your private bartender and PA staff, equipments connection for tape recording and playing are offered.

Wednesday-Saturday from 15:00 ~ 22:00

The minimum charge is 100NTD per hour with one unite basic liquid by individual. (2 hours at least),
Food is allowed to bring in but not liquids. All your friends are welcomed with one unit liquid required minimum consuming per person.
Beer and cocktail are offered @ 80 NTD, soft drinks@ 60NTD.

After 22:00 from Sunday to Tuesday the liquids are offered without any discounts and no basic liquids offered.

Jay, when you say LIVE AND MOVIE, does that mean that you guys will play a LIVE CONCERT ON A DVD, and everybody watches it and drinks beers, or you will play the DVD first, and later on, there will be a live Indie band, playing songs by the original band?

From my experience there it is a live concert DVD. Anytime there isn't any music at the Checkered Record jamming or band practice could break out (also depending on how many customers are there).

When LIVE AND MOVIE's Day,We will not have live band that night.
But we will play classical live concert and cool indie movie by big
screen.

This event was organized by TCRC to showcase Tainan's underground music scene.

The aim is to promote original music and the independent spirit of the Tainan music scene.

As this is the first TCRC production, the stage may be somewhat rustic.

Tickets and beer will be cheap, the setting will be well suited to live music.

TCRC plans to hold one such event 4 times a year.

A festival by the beach is currently being planned for winter 2008.

該月份有新的表演者回饋機制,

售票之場次千萬不要排斥,這絕對是經過TCRC嚴格把關後的決定,

沒有把握豈敢允諾表演者採取售票制,所以售票場次絕對是值回票價,

而且近來發現自行外帶酒水入內與完全不消費的投機客大有人在,

完全不尊重店家與表演者及其他客人,

因此做一個形式上的售票過濾僅相當於每個人的基本消費並不是以此圖利(門票可折抵指定酒水)!!!

所以一般票價之場次並不是有優劣比較之分,只是各表演者需要的回饋機制不同,

使用者付費更是國人所欠缺的基本態度也是讓台灣的藝文環境難以進步的主因之一!!!
