Tainan May Jam is the only independent underground music festival in Tainan and it will be the 11th time that it will take place! Lots of Bands from all over Taiwan!
So far for to begin with,....

That's a nice line up on both days. Should have people going back for more on Sunday.

Hi May Jammers!

"FREE MAY JAM SHUTTLE BUS"

There will be a free shuttle bus from Tin Pan Alley to the Tainan May Jam site!

First trip from Tin Pan Alley will be at 1pm and last from May Jam site back to Tin Pan Alley at around 10:30 pm I believe.

This is good new on our "don't drink don't drive" idea!

Tin Pan Alley is in walking distance of the Train station or bus stop out of town or in town or keep partying at Tin Pan Alley!

So drive your bikes to Tin Pan Alley catch the bus and stay safe!

CAMPING at May Jam!

Hi All!

I go a mail and was asked about the camping situation!

Yes camping is possible as I said, however it is on a very very simple base, facilities wise, etc.
There are squat toilets in which we will take showers with pails / buckets of cold water.
If that is good enough for you, welcome to camp.
It is basically for free this year, cause it is not a camping ground yet!,... but my little token for people that travel and want to stay for two days and crash on site. The beach is, by the way, a max 10 minute walk away!

as you know too many people have lost their life's, in the last couple of years and recently again a young fellow here in Tainan!
So all of you please make use of the bus, I mean it, and it is for free!

Ironically. I bet there will be a few Taiwanese families will get on the bus for these two reasons.

1) There was a line up so they were intrigued and got in line as well.
2) It was free.

Wow, wow, wow!!!

Tonight is the night, we were waiting so long for, the May Jam eve is there at Tin Pan Alley, in Tainan!
We will kick off the evening at 9:00pm and end when you want to go home ;)
Great Bands, smooth acoustic evening, followed by a DJ of the house,
thats how we start the May Jam!
As well, the last change to get the May Jam tickets cheap!
Also this years T-shirts have arrived and go for 300 NT$.

Hope you can make it either tonight or tomorrow or Sunday, each event will be great!
Why, because of you, you make it what it is, the Tainan May Jam!
