This Saturday night in Kaohsiung, JOIN Us will host an evening of live indie rock featuring 7 of Taiwan’s hottest rock bands - Shy Kick Apple, Magpie, Kook, Electrocute, Maho, Mao Jin Bu Tai Bai, & Star 69. It’s sure to be fun for everyone! There is a $200NT cover charge, but that includes one drink, so no worries.

JOIN Us is located at B1, 169 Jian Guo San Rd, which is only about a 5-10 min walk along the main street in front of the Kaohsiung train station. It’s actually quite easy to find. When you come out of the front station, you will see a McDonald’s across the street in front of you. Cross the street, then go right along the street (away from the overpass) and continue until you see #169.

At the show, Star 69 will be selling their new EP “Leap of Faith” for $200NT with $100NT of every EP sold being donated to the Red Cross Society of China in support of the many victims of Monday's earthquake in Sichuan province. Even if you don't want to buy the EP, they will have a donations box set up for anyone wishing to donate whatever they can to help out and if you donate $50+ NT you will receive a free Star 69 sticker. Or you can simply go to www.redcross.org.cn and make a donation online if you want to help but can’t make it to the show.
