This is a day you don't wanna miss... we also have food by Tin Pan Alley, 100nt drinks all day long, Art by Derek Murphy... and to top things off it's Atomic Hooligans birthday... so we're gonna party extra hard to help him bring in the new year. And this is all happening outdoors in the city center... just across from Tainan park, next to Tin Pan Alley. Gonna be a mash up event of nu rave breaks, electro house, nu rave disco, indie dance rock and Ragga breaks... from 12 noon to 3 am. Tickets are 500 nt ONLY pre-sale and 600 nt at the door. It's hard to beat 3 international acts, 10 local DJs and live hip hop from the UK, live art show... all for only 500 nt. 5 minute walk from the Train station in Tainan and bus drop off and pick-up area... and only 100 nt to get back to Kaohsiung when it's all done. We'll be doing a warm-up party in Tainan at Tin Pan Alley from 10-12 on June 5th as well as Squeaker's bar 真理花 from 1-3am also june 5th for free entrance, and at Club Fusion on June 12th. Aquasky
Aquasky 是世界三大碎拍音樂代表，2005年發行專輯Teamplayers並邀請Meat Katie、Freq Nasty、Tayo、Drumattic Twins共同合作。完美融合Nu-Skool Breaks ，Progressive Sounds，Techno ，2-Step ，Raggae等樂風並共冶一爐。

Dave Wallace, Kieron Bailey,和Brent Newitt三人組成的Aquasky從1995年在Moving Shadow旗下開始製作Drum & Bass。 2001年底他們打上Aquasky VS Masterblaster的旗幟大舉進攻Nu-Skool Breaks，在B&S旗下打造了令人難忘的Beat The Syetem經典唱片，它的出現，很明顯在舞曲界被認為是很完整而極具破壞力的第一次重拳出擊。他們很先見地將Nu-Skool Breaks ，Progressive Sounds，Techno ，2-Step ，Raggae等樂風共冶一爐。其中Satellite Channel、Thru The Fire、Eden與Blood Sucker幾曲明顯聽得到Progressive的行進，很實際地發揮舞池攻效；Disco Biscuit和緊接而來的777更作為狂掃Breaks的大熱門而成為猛轟全球舞池的炸彈；由Ragga Twins獻唱的Loko，All In Check巧妙地結合了2-Step與Raggae Mc，令人想到昔日Aquasky Drum N’ Bass美好時光。

05年底 Aquasky回歸自己原名，發布了專輯Teamplayers即將在2006年出爐的消息，以此慶祝耕耘10週年美好歷程，沒想到雪球越滾越大,到後來就變成最成功的專輯.憑他們號召力網羅了英國元老Dark Breaks創始者Freq Nasty,碎拍元老Tayo, Funky Breaks代言人Drumattic Twins,新人王The Autobot，女歌手Teri，老大Meat Katie,澳洲新晉Drum&Bass Pendulum成員Elhornet，Breaks和D&B界說唱歌手Spyda,美國碎拍元老Dj Icey ，沉寂許久再度露面的Backdraft以及Phil Hartnell, Breakfastaz, Ragga Twins, Uk Apache, Earl 16，Diane Charlemagne等等所有風格相近的一線大牌音樂家，囊括了05-06的舞池大熱作品如Good Sound，Overneath以及Looking For A Session，Bring It On Down，Dreamland，Across The Water，Revolution等，將眾人精華全部榨出，一一呈現。毫不誇張地說：Aquasky發起了舞曲界最扣人心弦最前衛的一次行動，陣容之強大開碎拍界先河。

Aquasky BIO
The trio are back after a year locked down in the studio creating fresh and innovative sonic assaults after re-assessing their position in the UK dance scene. Things work in cycles and for Aquasky those cycles are pinned down by the infamous number 7. A number that has followed them for many years now. A lucky number that encourages prosperity and creativity.

After debuting back in 1995, Aquasky spent 7 years creating Drum & Bass for many key labels including Moving Shadow, Reinforced & Good Looking. In the late 90's they were hooked on a new sound, a breakbeat sound that reminded them of their old days raving at the free parties. Not content with the breakbeat that was on offer at the time the guys wrote the seminal 'bassline breaks' track titled 777 for Botchit & Scarper. The label, pleased with the success of the single, signed them for an album and in 2002 'Beat The System', the bands 5th album, was released to critical claim. Fusing breakbeat’swith 4/4 rhythms and old school sounds with a healthy dose of d&b basslines the band started a sub-genre of breakbeat that is still going strong today.

Over the last few years Aquasky found they had exhausted what they were able to do within the remit of 'breaks', after 5 strong years of pushing the boundaries of all the styles found under that banner and a release schedule un-matched by any other producer within that scene. Reverting back to their 4/4 influences that were rubbed onto them (like Vics Vapour-Rub) from the key Rave & Acid tracks that got them started in the first place, they locked themselves back into the studio and firmly shut the doors for a full 12 months. It is now 2009, 7 years after they made the full-time leap to breakbeat, and the crew are back with another fresh style. Combining bashment rhythms, 4/4 beats, old school vibes, trademark bass and classic breakbeat... yet to be branded but much discussed.

Always keen to champion vocals Aquasky have linked up with Atlanta rappers Sporty-O and Goldmouf for this new release on their own imprint Passenger. Featuring a remix from up and coming 4/4 mash up king Kelevra and a special collab with one of their mates from the past 20 years, Trevor Loveys, this is the new sound from way out. Call it House, call it Old School, call it New-Rave Breaks, call it Warehouse... whatever you call it... it’s still Aquasky through and through. It’s still designed to make the ladies bounce and the fellas break. The lights to flicker and the speakers shake!!!

This will be followed on Passenger with another collaboration with Midlands bass slayers Slipz and Dapz. A duo who have championed the 4/4 bassline scene with support from Kissy Sellout and Ras Kwame on Radio 1 and virtually every pirate radio station north of Luton. But don’t expect the obvious as that’s too predictable!When the old masters link with the new school youngsters things get heavy... real heavy! With remixes from drum and bass' wonder-kid DJ Friction and a legend from the old school Tonka, now signed to Norman Cook'sSouthern Fried label, this is dirty dirty bass music...

Atomic Hooligan

Atomic Hooligan 是2008 Breakspoll票選最佳碎拍現場團體，也是傳奇天團Underworld單曲Born Slippy Nuxx 2007年指定紀念單曲混音單位。

Atomic Hooligan，世界公認最佳三大碎拍代表，英國權威雜誌《DJ Mag》封面人物，佔據著音樂先鋒的領導地位。這個被Underworld(地底世界樂團)欽點為御用混音師的英倫Breakbeat二人組，由Matt Welch和Terry Ryan二人組成。他們由於2005年的首張專輯《You Are Here》大受好評，精湛的技巧糅合豐富的音色與節奏創意，使其獲獎無數，成為2005的冠軍專輯，為他們奠定了在碎拍圈中一線藝人的地位。為 Underworld的成名單曲《Born Slippy Nuxx》的重新混音更使他們名聲大噪。

Atomic Hooligan Bio
Whilst their last album YOU ARE HERE was winning awards and accolades from all quarters, the Atomic Hooligan schedule has never slowed down, and with no halt in sight, it's no wonder that the commotion has already begun for 2008!

This year will see the release of the Hooligans 2nd album "Sex Drugs and Blah Blah Blah", accompanied by a worldwide LIVE tour. Second album jitters? Not likely! Atomic Hooligan smash back through the door with an album that not only rivals their first; but blows it out the water. The album has already been picking up some serious attention and has secured the lads a front cover slot on IDJ mag in February plus features in Djmag, Knowledge, ATM, Base AD and many others.

They fuse electro, indie, Hip Hop and breaks with ease, truly trying to push the sound further than simply breaks. ‘Sex, Drugs & Blah Blah Blah’ is a step beyond their last album; with new vocalists, new live instrumentation, and a new outlook on music, the Hooligans have outdone themselves again.

Their sophomore album sees the return of long time Hooligan collaborator, Justine Berry, along with new vocalist to the camp & future superstar, Elmo Jones. The collective have also employed a couple of Hip Hop legends from both sides of the Atlantic. DJ premier collaborator, Afu Ra, and UK Don, Genesis Elijah. The album also features playboy UK Cyber girl of the year Alex Sim-Wise, turning in a trashy electro style chant. The Hooligans have gone deeper with their production on this set. Pulling in string arranger Jote Osahn, well known for her work with the Gorillaz & Roots Manuva, along with an entire brass section to round their sound out. And if that wasn’t enough, Christian Ward (DC Comics) has whipped up some of his amazing, twisted art to package the whole thing.

After gracing the cover of DJ mag in 2006, Atomic Hooligan have grown from strength to strength. The LIVE show has rocked heads from Glastonbury to The Secret Garden festival amongst other major festivals and clubs all over the UK, Europe and Japan. And the DJ schedule has been non stop, as 2007 saw them rock parties in Japan, China, New Zealand, Brazil, Australia, Russia, Canada and all over the UK and Europe including regular spots at the worlds most admired club Fabric.

The band have now put together their latest incarnation of the live show, featuring the vocalists from the new album and after winning the accolade of Best Live act 2008 at this years International Breaks awards (with the Hooligans show aired LIVE on RADIO1), the shows are selling out fast.

Their hectic DJ schedule has always been due in part to the guy's impressive remix catalogue. More recently remixing for the likes of Groove Armada, Tomcraft, The James Brown Band and Sony rock hopefuls Dune aswell as past outings with their multiple manipulations of classic Underworld tracks, including the firm favourite Born Slippy. They also put their guaranteed dance floor smash stamp of approval on ILS's Lovin U.

With a whole bunch of fresh music about to be unleashed and a DJ and live schedule which is already looking very busy over the next 6 months, the Hooligan phenomenon continues to spread.

Always informed by Breaks but never locked down by it. When you listen to their body of work or any of their DJ sets you will find that you can never quite place your finger on any one defining style, but know that you are enjoying yourself just listening. This will all be further confirmed in 31st March 2008 when their follow up album hits the shelves.

This big melting pot of talent really does make for one tasty musical stew by anyone's standard...Unless your planning on sleeping under a rock this year you'll be hearing a whole lot more from these pioneering musical gents!

MC Genesis
Genesis15 歲發行第一張專輯Deh Pon Road(2005)，個人邁向音樂之路就此開始，此張專輯一發行便成為英國各雜誌評比之經典嘻哈之作，隔年又發行了The Industrial Revolution，更在街頭大賣了2萬張，Genesis將藝術與音樂相互結合，至今與多位藝人合作，包括: KRS One, Wu Tang, Talib Kweli, Souls Of Mischief, Blak Twang, Phi Life Cypher, Jehst，是您不得不聽的一位饒舌嘻哈大人物!

Brixton born Hip-Hop artist Genesis Elijah is one of the most respected names in the UK Hip-Hop scene and has been since his emergence in 2005. In 2005 Genesis Elijah released the critically acclaimed album Deh Pon Road which featured Hip-Hop heavy weights Klashnekoff, Skinnyman, Kyza, Skriblah and Wordsmith. The album was given rave reviews with the single 'Jah Bless' finding a spot on the BBC's 1xtra A list play list. 'Deh Pon Road' is considered by most as a UK Hip-Hop classic.In 2006 Genesis Elijah released his mixtape 'The Industrial Revolution'. This featured Sway, Dip Sets Tom Gist and Dubbledge. 早期在加拿大是玩hip hop, indie/grunge跟80年代 electronica為主 ... 2005年他將重心移至台灣,台中開始接觸碎拍節奏跟electro/tech,但著重於electro-grunge/fidget方面.將 old electronica 以及80年代 indie-rock 歌曲混音進入他的作品. 在台灣各地經常有表演並且舉辦了多場的派對,包括了墾丁春吶期間在南灣的免費海灘派對,以及不定期在台中,台南,高雄跟台北所舉行的SPIKED派對. 為大家將全台灣最熱門的外國DJ以及最火辣的派對朋友們聚在一起,每個禮拜六日台北DV8 club 的RISE after party 也是之後改在台北COCKY bar 每個星期日的FLY after party.. 現在DJ vDub 將主要為大家帶來nu rave breaks, indie rock and electrogrunge音樂, 也將不定期以80's 跟 retro/funk音樂派對帶給大家.

Growing up on hip hop, indie/grunge and 80's electronica back in Canada... he moved into the scene in 2005 in Taichung, Taiwan, spinning nu breaks and electro/tech, but leaning more towards the electro-grunge/fidget side of things... mashing up old electronica and 80's indie-rock into the mix. Playing all across Taiwan, and hosting massive events including the free beach parties on Nan Wan during Spring Scream down in Kenting, as well as various SPIKED events in Taichung, Tainan, Kaohsiung and Taipei. Also hosted a weekly after party in Taipei at club DV8 called RISE, followed by FLY sundays @ COCKY bar, bringing in the hottest Taiwanese and foreign djs together under one roof each week. vDub now spins mostly nu rave breaks, indie rock and electrogrunge, while occasionally throwing 80's and retro/funk parties into the mix

激速拼貼之南台灣鼓打貝斯怪客 - FATDIRTYFat Dirty在南部早期開始流行Rave文化及電子音樂的時候接觸了Hard Dance，發現除了Hip-Hop以外還有一種音樂領域可以讓他深深喜歡上，又在一次偶然的機會下聽到台南的老前輩Steppa在播放一種沒有聽過但是卻讓他在當下非常著迷的類型，那就是Drum’n Bass，在那次機會下Fat Dirty便開始研究並收集相關的資料，不知不覺中DNB就也慢慢的變成Fat Dirty生活中不可或缺的一塊。從Drum’n Bass Arena這個網站Fat Dirty看到了Andy C的Live片段，讓他想要試著嘗試去摸索播放DNB，這也開啟了Fat Dirty的DJ路途。一直到現在Fat Dirty還是喜歡不斷吸收各種領域的音樂帶給他的想法，從最早的Hip-Hop、Hard Dance、Psychedelic Trance、DNB到現在的Electro，Fat Dirty一直在各種類型的音樂中尋找靈感跟元素放進自己的表演裡，讓自己的表演更多元化也更客觀。

DJ TRIX

For the last six years Ryan Trix has been a staple in the diet of clubbers throughout China and Asia. His skills, selection and versatility have put him in demand from top sponsors (555, Chivas, Hennessy, Smirnoff to name a few), to residencies as some of Asia's hottest clubs including Luxy in Taipei to Bon Bon in Shanghai

Trix's dj career began over ten years ago in the underground rave scene in his hometown of Victoria, B.C. What began as a substitute to playing in bands soon became much more than that, taking him across the Pacific ocean to Taiwan where he quickly became established as a headline Dj and event organizer. Trix joined forces with Taiwan Dj's Saucey and Coffey to form the heavily influential Connect Crew, and successfully brought in top international acts including Derrick Carter, Timo Maas and LTJ Bukem. During his 3 years in Taiwan, Dj Trix held successful residencies and headlined many clubs in Taipei, including 2nd Floor, and Luxy, Boven, Room 18, Whiskey, and Bacchus.

International bookings became more frequent and Dj Trix made his first appearance in Seoul, Republic of Korea, where he rocked another sold out show, and re-ignited his deep interest in travel and Asian culture which has since brought him to Shanghai, People's Republic of China. In Shanghai, Dj Trix teamed up with Dj Tootekool (DE) and organized the original Micro parties where he extended his music style and range, evolving his sound to strike the right chords deep at the core of the underground music scene in Shanghai. Around the same time, Dj Trix began securing recurring nights at Shanghai's top venues including Park 97, Viproom, Guandii, Mint, Fabrique, Dkd where he continued to refine his Electro Tech style and build a firm footing for the future sound of Shanghai.

In 2005, Dj Trix, along with Dj Carl Lorimer (US) and Dj Kingpin (Aus) jointly established Union Music to promote their popular monthly residency at Club Dkd. The huge success of the Union nights have paved the way for recurring events of a larger scale at Club Bonbon, where the affliation with Godskitchen (UK) has made possible the introduction of many international acts to China's most cosmopolitan city: Shanghai. It also lead to a nationwide tour throughout the Middle Kingdom When not playing to Shanghai crowds, Dj Trix is hard at work planting the seeds for future generations of China club and party people. He is frequently touring and playing to packed clubs in many diverse parts of China.

Dj Trix is a favourite among both Clubs and sponsors alike. Aside from playing nearly every major club in China and holding residencies at clubs like Bon Bon, Park 97 and Luxy (Taipei), Trix has also had his name associated with top brands from clothing to alcohol to cigarettes. His repuatation has also earned him slots alongside such names as Derreck Carter, LTJ Bukem, Claude Von Stroke, Mark Farina, Audiofly, Colette,, Sharam Jey, Demi, Jamie McHugh, John Askew, Steve Mac, Andy Moor, Gavyn, Max Graham, Dj Sneak, Slacker and Eddie Halliwell as well as bands and singers such as Hu Yang Bing, Soler, The Dropkicks etc.

Trix ended 2008 with a bang playing in Beijing at a packed wharehouse party for iLook fashion magazine while in 2009 he is keeping up the good work with his monthly Tongue n' Cheek party alongside El Nomo (where he showcases his mash up abilities playing Pop, Hip Hop, Bmore, Funk and House) and a variety of production work for various clients.

Duckie started Djing in Los Angeles back in 1984 under Madness Attractions and Dark Side Productions playing Clubs like The Casa, C.S.O, and Don Quixote. It was in 1989 when he came to Taiwan and China and began working in clubs like Kiss Disco, Country Disco, Kokomo, Only You, K.K, Feeling, and Rock 22. He also plays at the Moonlight Festival Kenting. His freestyle mixing can hypnotize the crowd. He is now associated with SOUND PRESSURE RECORDS, EF REVOLUTION, BERMUDA RECORDS.

Born in South Africa, Naked's always been influenced by music irrespective of genre, and this reflects in his style of play. Originally a house dj, he has come to embrace the darker, grittier side of electronic music namely in the form of electro and tech-house. His highlights have been playing alongside international heavyweights like L.A.Riots, Rogue Element, Anderson Noise, Felix Cartel, Atomic Hooligan and Aquasky.

Dj Scottie Pimpin
Here’s a quick summary of my DJ experience;
My DJ name is Scottie Pimpin’. I’ve been DJing since 1996. I used to spin mostly Hip Hop (Underground) and Drum N Bass, but now I predominantly play Breaks. I used to DJ a lot of rave parties and rave-after-parties (dNb) in Toronto. I played at the Asylum in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A couple of promoter friends of mine flew me down there for an electronic music festival. Also, I had a weekly Hip Hop night with 2 other DJs in Toronto at a club called Liquids Lounge from 2000 to 2002 when I moved to Taiwan. Our crew was called Lord Knows Whut? and the night was quite popular with other DJs , breakers, and underground Hip Hop heads. Damn I miss those times!
Since moving to Taiwan, my DJ career had taken a backseat to my busy-ass life as a teacher, but in the past year and a half I’ve flipped that around. I have played at DREAMS and P.P. in Kaohsiung, PEACH in Taichung, and FUSION (numerous times) in Tainan. I also had a weekly night at LaSight in Tainan for a few months, but chose to end it because the crowd there only wanted to hear “Top 40-Jiggy shite”, which I refuse play. No sell-out,No compromise!
I bought a MacBookPro and SERATO Scratch Live about 16 months ago. Since that time, I’ve been playing quite regularly in and around Tainan. About 6 months ago I opened for the Super Milkmen when they played in Tainan at Tin Pan Alley. Great party! Recent gigs of note are Shanghai this past November 7. The party was called Dystopia, and was held at a club called DADA. I was also flown over there in January for another party called The Dangers of UP. It was on January 16, 2010, and was also held at DADA.
A few DJ friends and I have recently started a crew called Studio 193. Members include myself, Naked, Mic, Wander and DJ Andy. We’re just getting started as a brand, but our popularity is growing nicely. We expect big things in the coming year for Studio 193. 身兼Promoter & DJ的Dakar近年來不斷在派對活動擔任活動幕後的相關工作，熱衷音樂的他在04年底開始接觸DJ，05年投入台灣南部夜店Club FUSION擔綱活動企劃負責安排規劃Club FUSION活動工作，07年底中受ClubCAMMI之邀前往中國蘇州店駐場也受當地夜店亂世佳人邀請至派對擔綱演出，目前於台南夜店Club LA Sight擔綱活動統籌主理相關活動企畫，迅速崛起竄紅的他在這幾年內參與過不少大大小小的派對及穿梭在各大地區夜店與戶外派對的演出，細膩的混音及乾淨俐落接歌手法加上活潑的現場互動總是讓群眾狂歡不已，致力於載滿能量的Progressive與俏皮的Electro鼓組及帶些電氣濃厚搖滾的Indie Dance，先前受到Above & Beyond和Sasha的影響在他的音樂流程裡充滿冷冽無限的爆發，Jelo與Justice更是啟發他對Electro的革命情感，讓他不斷在 House領域中尋找自己對音樂的駕馭，常以猛而具有張力不斷激速電流快感爆發最熱血的跳舞能量，再湊上滾滾而來彈性豐滿的Bassline更是讓舞客們停不住腳。
