Blood Orange @ Tin Pan Alley! with Point .22

Blood Orange for those of you who haven't heard them, they are a band of super players who sounded awesome their first practice (I was there), yet, they practiced for a year before their fury on the masses. They have a hardcore style mixed with freakouts of pure smooth samba and sometimes sweet jazz interludes, but always drive back to hardcore riff rock with mathematical precision. They are musician's musicians. Pure Rawk. Also, that same night, Point.22 the best songwriting band in Taiwan are also gracing the stage. I'm not just making that up, they won the battle of the bands on ICRT as Taiwan's best indie band like 25 years in a row. Or maybe just once I forget. Wade and Steve have been playing and writing songs together for about 15 years and Pete has been with these guys for something like half of that and they do have a groove like no one else, lush harmonies with catchy melodies. "F*ck No Techno" is a good example of their songwriting sensibilities and of their sound.
Don't miss this show or you'll be asked by everyone who went if you saw this awesome shit. Tix are 200Nt. Pizzas are hot and fresh, as always. Hope to see you there, D

2 great out of town bands both out of this world and out of their minds out on parole and out ofluck stopping in for one show tonight Saturday, 200 at the door please. We'll have lots of hot alcohols specials to warm up your insides and get you boogyin out of your house. Go out and get into it. ponit.22 and Blood Orange. .22 has won contests for beign killer, and Wade of Spring Scream fame is ther singer guitarist. This really can't be missed. Grab all your warm stuff bring a blanket, We can provide one electric blanket the is cozy but don't spill blood orange booze on it or you may fry and we'll use you to keep warm. Cheers D
