11th Tainan May Jam 2010
Hi,
you all know the saying:
"The early bird catches the worm"
Well in this regard I am starting to inform you slowly but surly over the next remaining 11 month over the progress and bits and peaces that make The May Jam to what it is, the May Jam.
However there will be further changes about the May Jam but no worries the main event will stay as it is and the cover charge of 250 NT$ will remain unless something outrageous will happen but I like to keep it simple with as little surprises as possible.
Cheers
The May Jam Team
PS.: If you have thoughts and ideas about what we can improve to up-great the quality of the May Jam, I am all ears and interested.

More publicity. I never see
More publicity. I never see any info at all. Perhaps something in one of the papers if anyone's got a contact? There's so many different music festivals in Taiwan that I see all the time in the Taipei Times but never the one in our neck of the woods.
More posters at relevant places?
Get more people involved so
Get more people involved so they will help get the word out better. Start earlier with any pre-parties.
Robert, i have done the
Robert,
i have done the first step, ....
11 more month to go and by the end of it you don't want to see no more posts here on this site,... :)
Yes Robert it was in the two news papers, small but there.
In the past I would have done way more but remember originally I didn't want to go on with the event, tried the new venue,... great, it suits the May Jam done to the bone, in every aspect.
Next year, 2010 has already started for me and as I said some stuff will change, it will be a bit more commercial but I try to make it as low key as possible.
In the end, no matter how well something is prepared, the music has to right.
This year I had some very interesting encounters, one band in particular wanted to see some real cash and I wondered from where they got the idea, that I print my on currency in the basement?!
cheers
