Thanks from Very Practical Chinese Author

Thank you so much to everyone who has expressed interest in this book. It means a lot to me. Very Practical Chinese is a group project, the result of three years of hard (but very rewarding!) work. While I am the author, I also have two amazing editors - both of whom have been Chinese teachers for ten years each. They were integral to this project from the beginning, and they are the reason that I will stand behind every word in this book. I really believe that the juxtaposition of a foreigner/local; student/teacher; 2nd language/native speaker perspective gives this book an unparalleled quality and authenticity - quite simply, there's nothing else like it on the market. It's always a pleasure to talk to people who are interested in the VPC Books, and I'd be honored and delighted if you'd take the time to come out to Masa (daytime 12-5) or The Armory (evening 8-11) this coming Thursday.

Thanks and hope to see you:)
Maureen

Seeing really is believing - and I'm sure that once you see for yourself everything this book has to offer that you'll want a copy, so if you're so inclined, stop by Masa to check it out!

Hi Robert,

Your book sounds very interesting. I'd like to have a look at it.

Can we buy it at Masa, or any other bookstore now ?

Masa sounds nice, it is a coffee shop / bookstore. For picture check out the bookstore's Webpage :

If you'd like to see it, I have a copy at my house. I think Masa might have some copies but I'm not sure. Oh, and it isn't Robert's book. The author is Maureen Kealy's.

Private message me for a sneak peek at a tea shop somewhere.

Yeah, it isn't my book but I

Yeah, it isn't my book but I did get a glimpse of it when I sat down to chat with the very amiable author, Maureen Kealy. She was self taught and wrote the book with self learning in mind. It was edited by two very high paid Chinese teachers though, so it does seem like a fabulous book. Lots of helpful tips and guidance included that she wished she knew the first time around.
