Questons about academic requirements to teach in Taiwan
What is the mimimum academic requirement that the dept of education and dept of labor will accept in Taiwan? Do they accept associate degrees or two year programs.? What about high school diplomas from grade 12? Is a TESSEL Certificate necessary? or be accepted in place of a two year program? Is it true the govermment is cracing down on degrees or diplomas obtained on line?

The minimum to qualify for a
The minimum to qualify for a work visa is an undergraduate degree from an accredited college. It's actually the school's responsibility to make sure it's not forged. I'm not sure how often the government double checks it but the school is penalized if the diploma is found out later to be forged or otherwise invalid.
