Baseball Dice Game

This is a game that will get your 10 year old students going.
Requirements:
Dice
4 magnets with magnetic black/whiteboard
marker/chalk
Details:
You sort the class into two teams. Give them names or keep it simple with A and B. Draw a baseball diamond on the board , and put the numbers 1 - 6 on the board. Next to the numbers add: single, double, triple, home run, and out. You'll need to add out twice. Let the teams go one at a time until they get their outs. I usually limit it to 2 outs to keep the turnaround a little faster between the teams. The "players" on the bases are moved using the force rule, meaning if someone gets a triple, then the next player gets a double there is no run scored, but if someone gets a single and the next player gets a triple, the player on first is forced in and scores a run.
